This past spring beginning in February, your Local 4366 Bargaining Committee was hard at work drafting proposals for an updated C.A with the assistance of our CUPE National Rep, Bonnie Wong as the CA was expiring on March 31, 2023. Bargaining began in April and after 5 full days at the table, an agreement between the parties was reached at 4:15 pm on June 29.  The Employer ratified the tentative CA with the Library Board on July 6, and the Local 4366 members ratified the evening of July 7.  The CA has many improvements.  Once the process of updating it is complete, members should expect to receive the new agreement, potentially around mid to late August.
